Q: What are the ages of campers?
A: Children ages 4-16 years.

Q:What time does Magic Day Camp start and end?
A: Camping hours are from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm. However, your child can be picked up between 7:00 am - 8:30 am depending on where you live. Your child will be home between 4:15 pm - 6:00 pm depending on where you live. Magic Day Camp offers early day drop off and extended day pick up.
Q: Do you offer extended day or early drop off?
A: Yes!
Q: How do your prices compare with other Summer Day Camps?
A: We are extremely accommodating and offer discounts to siblings.
Q: How is summer camp transportation handled?
A: We believe our busing service is one of the most important components of your child’s camping experience. Our bus company is a direct reflection of Magic Day Camp and we feel it deserves the utmost attention. Our drivers are known for their relentless safety measures, while providing courteous and established pickup and drop off times for your child. Our bus drivers will never leave a child unattended at any time. Our bus company adheres to a strict employee, driver screening programs ensure the highest standards for safe transportation. Each child is picked up and dropped off door-to-door.
Q: Does Magic Day Camp hold summer camp orientation programs or open houses?
A: Yes, we hold open houses throughout the year and a camper orientation in June. Parents are encouraged to call or email questions/concerns at anytime.
Q: My child is not going to be starting until the middle of the summer. Will my child feel left out?
A: At Magic Day Camp “Everyday day is Magical” and we have a no bully, no child left out policy! Not all campers start camp at the beginning of the summer, many campers start at different points throughout the summer.
Q: How does your summer camp compare with the other summer camps in Queens?
A: Magic Day Camp is a privately owned summer day camp that has successfully operated for more than 30 years. Magic Day Camp is conveniently located in Bayside, Queens and has served generations of children a safe and rewarding environment to explore new and enriching experiences that foster both mental and physical growth. We believe all children need a safe and supervised, environment to develop into well rounded youth, and eventually adults. Magic Day Camp Directors, Assistant Directors and Head Counselors are experienced and/or, New York State Certified teachers that are trained in Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and Responding to Emergency (RTE) methods.
Magic Day Camp maintains an exceeded ratio of counselors to campers. Every employee is screened and background checked.With daily swimming, daily trips, sports programs, dance programs, parks, state of the art facilities, celebrations, and incredible summer days; "everyday is truly magical!"

Q: What areas does Magic Day Camp pick up in?
A: We provide door to door transportation to families EVERYWHERE in Queens at no additional cost, we also offer camping options for children residing in New Hyde Park, Elmont, Valley Stream, Stewart Manor, Bellerose Village, Floral Park, and Garden City.
Q: Does my child need a medical form completed before summer camp starts?
A: Yes, every camper must have a completed medical form prior to the start of their camping session.
Q: Is my child's summer day camp tuition tax deductible?
A: Yes! Please use the following Federal Tax ID# 464486403 when filing your tax return.
Q: What should my child wear to camp?
A: Your child will receive 3 Magic Day Camp t -shirts. Every camper MUST wear their Magic Day Camp t-shirt every day.
Your child should wear a bathing suit for the pool under his or her clothing.
Sneakers and socks must be worn each day.
Q: What should my child bring to camp?
A: Your child should have a swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen, a water bottle and whatever personal items they might need throughout the day. We strongly suggest campers bring at least one bottle of water and a snack with them daily. Water is available at all times for all campers, however we find
that children often become thirsty and hungry when the day is over, and they are
relaxing on the bus heading home.
Q: My child lost an item, what do I do?
A: Please label everything your child will be wearing or carrying. Only lost items that
are found with a name will be returned. We are NOT responsible for personal
belongings lost at camp.
