Athletics

Basketball, softball, touch football, T-Ball, soccer, volleyball, miniature golf, tennis, and swimming. Campers of varied skill levels are encouraged to participate in our New Basketball Tournament Program.

Trips & Special Events

Themed special events, activities, and trips are planned for each day. All trip admission fees are included in the camp tuition. The trips are exciting adventures for all age groups. Our destinations include Adventureland, Chuck E. Cheese´s, BounceU, Safety City, Fun Zone and Fun Station. There is much more included in our busy activity schedule!

Arts & Crafts

Weekly Arts & Crafts projects are often themed to coordinate with our weekly events. Campers create a variety of masterpieces which become souvenirs or gifts that can be played with, worn, or used.

Swimming

Magic Carpet Day Camp uses an indoor heated aquatic facility. The Flushing Meadows Aquatic Center, an enclosed award-winning state of the art facility allows our campers to swim daily, including days with inclement weather!

HEALTH

Our Health Director is a trained Emergency Medical Technician who provides necessary first aid, and monitors each camper´s health needs while in our care.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is included in our tuition. We use only Department of Transportation approved vehicles and drivers. We also provide a bus counselor on every bus for additional safety.

PRE-CAMP & AFTER CAMP

Camp formally begins at 9:00 am and ends at 3:30 pm. Our first bus arrives in camp at about 8:15 am and the last bus departs by 4:00 pm on a normal day.
Extended hours are available in our Pre-Camp and After-Camp Program for children being picked up and/or dropped off by a parent. Our Pre-Camp Program begins at 7:30 am and After-Camp hours are from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. There is an additional fee required for this service.

Camper Organization

Our youngest campers, 4 to 6 year olds, are in the Junior Division. They enjoy all camp activities on an age appropriate level. Special activities in this group include clown performances, puppet shows, and The Aharon Nature Education Program. Swimming instruction is given with extra supervision and care for our youngest campers.

Our Middle Divisions ages 7 to 11, enjoy our full program of activities. Campers in this age range can elect to participate in our Sports League Program with organized team sports and tournaments.

The Senior Division consists of campers 12 years and older. These campers have their own separate activities, trips, and special events. Included are IMAX SHOWS, Laser Tag, Mini-Golf, and Mystery Trips, to name a few.
